The Field, the Whisper and the Reflection
And a Central American Soul Biography on Poverty and Connectedness
The Field, the Whisper and the Reflection
Inner View. Start With No-thing. Soul Biographies. Three names that echo through this work. This is how they belong to each other. I thought this may be useful.
The Field: Inner View
Inner View is the profoundation of this work. The center. A seeing that undoes the self in the act of witnessing. It is both a methodless method and the unseen field from which life unfolds. It’s a way of being. Everything I’ve made has emerged from this still point.
The Whisper: Start With No-thing
Start With No-thing is the distilled whisper. The central truth that Inner View reveals. It’s the phrase people find themselves repeating after being seen without condition. Not as instruction, but as remembrance. A whisper that returns them to something that has never not been here.
The Reflection: Soul Biographies
Soul Biographies is the most visible artifact. The filmic evidence of something profound. The part that can be shown, shared, replayed. It’s the library. The public expression. It’s the beginning for many. And it stands alone in that the films can be experienced without explanation, and still reach somewhere deep.

30 Minutes of/from No-thing on 12 August, 1pm US Eastern, 6pm UK : What if the clarity you seek arrives only when you stop seeking? No method. No teaching. Just the stillness that undoes you.
Soul Biography | How To Give a Fishing Lesson
This is a film about the nature of poverty. Perhaps it even points in part to where we might work together to solve it. It starts with a well known proverb;
Give a man a fish
and you feed
him for the day.
Teach a man to fish
and you feed him
for a lifetime.
But what if the causes of poverty were to lie much deeper than many of us assume. And what if poverty were much wider spread than many of us imagine.
Armed with her cleverness and resource, Maria Pacheco set out to fight poverty and to change the world. But she was soon to realize the depth at which poverty exists. The solution to the predicament she faced would soon take her breath away. As lives were transformed. Together.
‘… I have seen people who were rich and thought they had the answers fall apart and let their beautiful being emerge too.’
Might the answers lie
in how we are
when we learn
to fish together?
IV
This is an undoing.
You don’t need more clarity.
That belongs to the mind.
You need permission to fall.
Because in the falling,
the one who sought dissolves.
And in what remains—
clear sight.
deep knowing.
and the life that was waiting,
lived through you.
