Three reflections. Of sorts. Image below taken in the North (of me) Woods.
And two audio pieces.
The Reflection
As I gaze into the world,
I realize that nothing
falters in its ability
to reflect what
I’ve come here to see.
My challenge remains
to admit
to what it is
that I’ve seen.
This is a brief two minute segment from a recent podcast I did with Zoran Todorovic at TNM Coaching. For reasons that soon become obvious the episode is named the Art of Stillness and Human Presence.
You suddenly realize you’re looking into a reflection. You realize that we belong to each other.
Or listen on Apple Podcasts or Spotify
note: Imagine this experience in your team or group. A point at which you realize that you are connected. A point at which you realize that you belong to each other. A point at which the way you work together might change inexorably. An almost unimaginable use of cinematography, large scale projection and consciousness. I can help you with such an experience.
A Reflective Mission
Two decades ago I set out to capture the Soul of the Human Race on film, so that we might see ourselves reflected in each other. So that we might come to remember that we belong to each other, and act accordingly.
Along this journey to the deep human interior I’ve come to understand the profound nature of the revolutionary act of unconditional attention and how it holds the key to us becoming reconnected to ourselves and as importantly, to each other. My mission is to share this far and wide. As a profound practical experience of peace in amongst people, and as an experience on film that will last for generations.
Thank you, as always, Nic for your observations and reflections, much appreciated.
Each time I listen, I see, feel or sense something different, and so remaining more and more in the stillness you talk about and wonder, notice what is arising from deep, not from my head and my thinking. Such a simple, still, peaceful place. Blessings, Colin
