There was a moment a few years back where an icon (perhaps) of the personal development/transformation industry was in front of my camera with an audience witnessing it all on a large monitor. And in this ‘moment’ the person in question realized what this experience was and how opposite it was to the the very notion of transformation and becoming. That person literally could not then make eye contact from that moment, and the entire room was extremely uncomfortable.

Was if we already were? What then for the journey, what then for an entire world set up to encourage becoming?

I am thankful this is not the 16th Century. Heretics and all that.

This experience is woefully simple and takes nothing. Because it already is. Subtraction not addition. Addition is probably addiction.

I know it is possible to call off the search.

Over, and out. For now.

This is absolutely profound. I deeply appreciate your work. As a life-long learner and spiritual seeker, I am coming to the realization that I am thoroughly addicted to learning "how" to become something "better" than that which I already am. There is a certain grieving process that I am entering as I shed the striving to transform and the longing to belong. Thank you, Nic 🙏

Heretical in the best way possible.

The jpy, the beauty of that glimpse in meditation of connection and knowing there is nothing wrong with you...

I absolutely love this piece. And, I can't seem to play the video due to its privacy settings.

Strange, it plays on my three browsers. I altered some settings + I uploaded it as an audio. Let me know if you can see + hear.
