A Deep Faith But Not In Any God
I have met many along the way with such a faith. A distant sense of something true, with no obvious path across the horizon.
This Came With No Instructions and No Plan
I sometimes record fragments of meetings. This is such a fragment.
This stretches out for just 3 minutes.
It in some ways reveals something of the underneath of this two decade journey with the Inner View camera. The origin point was different. Is different. It’s fueled by a deep faith but not in any god. I have met many along the way with such a faith. A distant sense of something true, with no obvious path across the horizon.
20 years ago we had our first child and very soon after that I was struck in a hotel sitting on my own in London by the fact that I had to pick a camera up.
Anyhow, I thought you may appreciate the reveal. Perhaps even identify with it deeply. Suitable for those who might be wondering what humanity could be, and about their own part in it.
There have been a lot of dead ends in this exploration. This is utterly mysterious. It’s not in time and space. It’s a deep faith in life itself. In a very different origin point. A deep universal origin point. It must be why I wrote the Tree of Dreams.
the image that fronts the video - I photographed from a boat to Molokai, Hawaii. The color version is amazing, I have posted it on instagram.
The Tree of Dreams
This experience, this way … is so very tree of dreams.
You can find the word film, and the six short sentence poem itself on the Soul Biographies site here.
Beautiful, thank you Nic, resonates on every level.
Has it struck you Nic that what you feel or experience is what many see God as, many of faith would envy you that sense.
